About

"The songs that had been in hiding for years are coming finally into fruition and the band Treemask provides the acrobatic respite i'd always longed for underneath a marquee- all of whom posses a similar story to my own."

Harry Sions & Matt Harknett form the rhythm section, with Sions marvelling on the bass and Harknett able to carry every tune with seeming ease. Sions' track "Smokey" has often been known to open the show, and Harknett's "Sailing Boat" has been referred to as a climax by many.

Daisy Dennett & Jake McSweeney add higher tones, with Dennett (left) adding backing vocals alongside keys and McSweeney (right) spinning solos into many a Treemask track. McSweeney's track "Law" made for the band's third single, and Dennett's lyrical contributions on Harknett's "Sailing Boat" and Phillips' "Richard The Coward" are about all she can manage.

Thomas J Phillips fronts Treemask. His vocals have been compared to that of Thom Yorke, and his songwriting hopes to inspire the uninspired. His lyrics often begins as poetry, his melodies are rough and flooded with time signature change, and his pleas  for like-minded losers to Join The Circus has now taken the form of his first album.
